Ireland's National Access Point for transport and mobility data

Transportdata.ie provides a central catalogue of transport-related datasets and information resources, supporting the discovery, access and reuse of data for travel, traffic and mobility services.
This website has been established under the European Union's Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) framework and Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR).
As the platform evolves, additional datasets and services will be made available to support both national priorities and European requirements.

GTFS Schedule is a feed specification that defines a common format for static public transport information, including routes, stops and timetables.

National Public Transport Gazetteer (NPTG)

A national reference dataset containing geographic information for cities, towns, villages and other localities across Ireland used by public transport services.

Local Road Network (RMO)

Spatial dataset representing Ireland's local road network, including the location and alignment of roads managed by local authorities nationwide. Covers all 31 local authority areas across Ireland.

Real-time travel time estimates for major national routes on the national road network, supporting journey planning, route monitoring and traffic information services across Ireland.
